Thomond Gate – Dick Mack’s Brewhouse – Coffee Stout Cask Finish – Single Malt – ‘This story began when we at Dick Macks filled a bourbon cask with coffee stout in January 2020. We disgorged that cask in May 2021, when it made its way to Thomond Gate in Limerick. It was then filled with 4 year old double distilled single malt whiskey from Great Northern Distillery. The cask was finally disgorged at over 7 years old and bottled on December 8 2024 yielding 270 bottles, of which Dick Macks has a small allocation of about 50 bottles for sale.
This is the tenth collaboration between ourselves and a whiskey producer and we are now nearing the end of our collaborations with whiskey suppliers meaning that this is a unique bottling for sale at €100 per bottle. It is very similar to the very first coffee stout collaboration that we released.
